For our client, a leading international player in production, we are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to strengthen the team. You will work in a dynamic and professional team, where pro activity and a high degree of independence are of paramount importance.

Efficient and conscientious processing of all contract and logistics data in Microsoft 365 (the logistics software program) according to established procedures and working methods as far as possible
Arranging transport of the goods to the customers
Monitoring the agreements on how, what and when must be delivered and/or shipped
Arranging loading appointments and coordinating the availability of product at the suppliers
Request documents in time and, where necessary, request information from external bodies such as; Chamber of Commerce, Waren Inspection Service, Plant Protection Service, Inspection organizations, etc
Manage, monitor and ultimately print and prepare for dispatch of all documents within the specifications agreed by the parties (such as time, payment conditions and delivery conditions)
Informing customers in a timely manner with pre- and final shipment advice
Clearly inform suppliers and make good agreements regarding the availability of goods
Clearly inform shipping companies and make good agreements regarding container availability and ship space
Timely communication with commercial colleagues and/or Team Manager where there are improvements and/or problems with regard to the logistical settlement of contracts
Maintaining and/or improving knowledge and skills by following courses
Being and staying alert to all new logistics developments that relate to your work
Control of all outgoing invoices per file
Coaching and guiding new colleagues
Personal employability and knowledge sharing
Special Projects, includes all activities that are not a standard part of the position.It regards innovationprojects

Wij vragen van de Logistiek Coördinator

In possession of an MBO + or bachelor diploma preferably in logistics direction
Several years of experience in a similar position
Good command of English language and Dutch is an advantage
Knowledge of Incoterms 2010, payment conditions and handling of L/cs is an advantage
Experience with logistics software programs
Good knowledge of Excel and Word
Affinity with sea container transport
Possesses persuasiveness and very good communication skills
Identifying and commercially weighing up opportunities in the market and daring to take responsible risks. Constantly striving for optimal business advantage.
