Description Project Management Officer - native level English speaker

The purpose of the role of PMO is to support the organisation to achieve project success and to facilitate on a tactical and operational level with Company and Group IT initiatives and programmes.The role includes providing support, monitoring, documenting, and preparation of planning, financials, quality, risks, communication and KPIs for both sizeable projects and Group IT initiatives.

Responsibilities:
• Manage business process improvement projects from initiation to completion, operating across departments
• Provide expertise and resource to ensure that key business improvement transformation projects are run to time and budget and to a high quality
• After the completion of projects, continue to monitor/evaluate the business process and ensure that changes are satisfactorily adopted
• Ensure that all Group IT business processes and policies are properly documented, periodically reviewed and updated to maintain a current set
• Support the broader IT Governance and Compliance process

Key Tasks:
• Project manage/execute/implement business improvement projects ensuring professional standards and best practice is applied
• Track the status of projects on a managerial and operational level, prepare appropriate reporting
• Ensure relevant risks are appropriately identified, recorded and managed in a consistent and planned fashion in accordance with appropriate standards
• Implement controls to monitor the adoption and usage of the implemented business improvement
• Act as a champion for innovation and continued improvement
• Scrutinize and challenge all projects to ensure continuous improvement acts as a key driver and a measurable outcome
• Influence the shape and direction of projects, providing added value by constructive challenge to reconcile conflicting view points
• Promote new innovative ways of working and facilitate change be ensuring buy-in and support at all levels of the business
• Creatively apply business and technical knowledge to enable, support and review all aspects of change implementation
• Plan, initiate and support periodic staff training programmes relating to Compliance, Information Security and Cyber Awareness concepts and policy

Requirements Project Management Officer - native level English speaker

• Bachelor’s degree is required, Master degree would be a plus
• Native level English speaker
• High level ISO27001 knowledge and ISMS administration skills is required
• High level GDPR knowledge and relevant administration skills is required
• Having knowledge of Cyber- and Information Security best practices
• Certification from a recognized authority (e.g. Project Management Professional and/or Business Process qualifications/certifications) Certificate PMI of Prince 2 is required
• 3+ years of project management experience
• Affinity with IT and InsurTech

• Quantifiable experience facilitating and supporting projects with a focus on process improvement and strategy, demonstrate understanding of performance management, business consulting, and applicable technology
• Experience in Project Management: ability to set priorities, complete tasks, meet strict deadlines, cost management, risk management
• Strong documentation skills in processes: methods, policy documents - governance, reporting and analysis
• Knowledge and experience in (IT) risk management and business continuity planning
• Problem solving approach and decision making
• Effectively manages multiple service provider relationships (Quality management)
• Efficiency and Effectiveness, Strategic focus, Change management and innovation with a hands on and pragmatic approach
• External Awareness – keeps abreast of contemporary working practices and technology solutions; sound practical understanding of legislative impact, opportunities and investment analysis
• Has established a track record of high quality work and encourages others to have similar standards

• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Proficient in Office365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Comfortable and proficient operating with multi-cultural teams in an international environment
• Customer focused, effective team player, excellent communicative skills, Innovative thinker, and proactive
• Relates to core values of professionalism, integrity, accountability, enthusiasm and adaptability
• Takes charge of self-development and self-awareness
• Understands importance of compliance with corporate policy
